STOMPer Jerry was astounded by the high prices of bak kwa (or sliced barbecued pork, a popular Chinese New Year snack) on Bee Cheng Hiang's website.
In the STOMPer’s email today (Feb 5), the STOMPer wrote:
“Take a look at the cost of the bak kwa at the Bee Cheng Hiang online store.
“A 530g slice of meat costs S$359!
“I think that it is probably the most expensive slice pork in history in Singapore as the economy recovers.”</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
