$89,000 drugs seized, 2 arrested in CNB operation

SINGAPORE - Drugs worth an estimated $89,000 have been seized in anti-drug operations conducted in the past two days.
The first operation on Monday resulted in the arrest of a 41-year-old Singaporean man who is being accused of drug consumption and possession. Four Erimin-5 tablets were seized from him.
On Tuesday, a follow-up raid was conducted in the Kim Tian Road residence of the suspect. There, officers recovered about 997g of cannabis.
That evening, another operation resulted in the arrest of a 42-year-old suspect believed to be an associate of the first man.
CNB officers raided the drug associate's residence at Segar Road and recovered a total of about 1.015kg of cannabis, 125g of 'Ice', 16 Erimin-5 tablets and various improvised drug-smoking apparatus.
Overall, a total of 2.012kg of cannabis, 125g of 'Ice'; and 16 Erimin-5 tablets, were seized from the operations.
