KUALA LUMPUR - THERE are 81,000 children registered as born out of wedlock according to the Islamic Development Department (Jakim), reported Utusan Malaysia.
Integrity Institute of Malaysia president Datuk Dr Mohd Tap Salleh said among the factors that led to the increase were the free flow of information and changing culture.
'Acquaintances made through Facebook and other social sites lead to promiscuity and eventually other things. This would not happen if we have boundaries and strong integrity,' he said. -- THE STAR
