Part-Time Love is a song written by Elton John with lyrics by Gary Osborne. It was banned by various radio stations and omitted from the Soviet Release of the album. It is obvious that the lyrics deal with adultery; the second verse goes:
"You've been seen running around, there's not much I don't hear of, and still you try telling me all the things I must stay clear of. Don't tell me what to do when you've been doing it too, because you, me and everybody's got a part-time love"

Philadelphia writer and producer Thom Bell and lyricist Linda Creed wrote this. This song is about giving everything up for love.

The Stylistics were formed in Philadelphia in 1968 by the members of 2 groups, The Percussions and The Monarchs. After local success with Sebring Records, they were signed by Avco, teamed initially with Thom Bell and later Van McCoy. During the early '70s, the band had 12 straight Top-10 hits, including "I'm Stone in Love With You," and also "You Are Everything," "Betcha by Golly, Wow," "Break Up to Make Up," and "You Make Me Feel Brand New." In the UK they were just as successful and they had a #1 hit in 1975 with "Can't Give You Anything (But My Love)." All of their hits were ballads featuring the soaring falsetto of Russell Thompkins jr.
In 1975, Johnny Mathis recorded this for his album I'm Coming Home, which was produced by Thom Bell. His version hit #10 in the UK.

"Sealed with a Kiss" is the title of a song written by Peter Udell and Gary Geld. It was first recorded in 1960 by The Four Voices. While their version was released as a single, it failed to make a significant impact. In 1962, Brian Hyland, a frequent recorder of Udell's and Geld's material, released the song as a single. It became very popular, charting as high as # 3 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart. It charted in the UK at # 7 when re-released in 1975. Hyland also recorded a version in German.

So we gotta say goodbye for the summer
baby I promise you this
I'll send you all my love
every day in a letter
Sealed with a kiss

Yes it's gonna be a cold, lonely summer
but I feel the emptyness
I'll send you all my dreams
every day in a letter
sealed with a kiss

I'll see you in the sunlight
I'll hear your voice everywhere
I'll run to tenderly hold you
but baby you won't be there

I don't wanna say goodbye for the summer
knowing the loneliness
so let us take a pledge to meet in September
and seal it with a kiss

Yes it's gonna be a cold lonely summer
but I feel the emptyness
I'll send you all my love
every day in a letter

Sealed with a kiss

Sealed with a kiss (repeat until fade

"I Shot the Sheriff" is a song written by Bob Marley, told from the point of view of a man who admits to having killed the local sheriff, but claims to be falsely accused of having killed the deputy sheriff. The song was first released on The Wailers' album Burnin'.
Eric Clapton recorded a cover version that was included on his album, 461 Ocean Boulevard. It is the most successful version of the song, peaking at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Clapton's only chart-topping hit in the U.S.
"I want to say 'I shot the police' but the government would have made a fuss so I said 'I shot the sheriff' instead... but it's the same idea: justice." — Bob Marley

I shot a chimpanzee ..:confused::confused:

chimp_636567a.jpg

Staff of the Sanaga-Yong Chimpanzee Rescue Centre let the chimps watch the burial of Dorothy, an elderly chimpanzee, so they could come to terms with her loss.
Workers at the chimp rescue centre in east Cameroon were surprised to see the entire family rush to the perimeter of their enclosure to pay their final respects.
The normally lively and noisy animals stood silently in line with their hands on each others shoulders for comfort. They then watched, apparently in quiet contemplation, as the elderly chimp, aged in her 30s, was buried.
Staff said that the moment gave a rare insight into how chimps react when one of their family dies, showing very human-like emotions.
Monica Szczupider, the photographer, said: "Perhaps the most stunning reaction was recurring, almost tangible silence."

suddenly, this come to my head, I shot a bengali ... please me no racial..
