65 MRT Passengers told to get out of the train and walk to the station

Hong MTR trains don't stop midway to the station and tell the passengers to walk on the train tracks to the next station like Singapore MRT.

Many of the Hong Kong MTR stations have numerous exits and some exits can stretch quite far, that's why there can be quite a lot of walking in the station. Singapore MRT stations don't have as many exits as the Hong Kong stations.

Then they r not world class Miw say only world class tansport give you shit

Why pay them the highest salaries in the world and incur high cost for constant train breakdowns, unexplained infection outbreaks in hospitals ect2.
The issue is why pay more for mediocre quality?

MRT officials made sure that there are no foreign Ah Nehs and angmo passengers first. Otherwise, these two types of pax will complain loudly and minister will be unhappy.

The humbug-in-charge should recommend that he himself commits harakiri.

The 70% is fine with the disruptions n screw ups as they voted for more shafting...n who did the commuters vote for?

Well, you have 65 passengers, so about 40% are FTs given the population breakdown. So roughly 39 of the 65 are sinkies. Lets say 20% of these 40 sinkies are below voting age, and hence did not vote for the PAP. That means 31 are voting age sinkies. Of these 31, 70% voted PAP. So, out of the entire train of 65 people that had to get out and walk, only 22 actually voted PAP, but their stupidity affected 43 other people. This is called the dumb fuck multiplier effect.

You are one hundred % right. Can go to 3rd world country and get the same quality of govt.

it's a privilege and honor to walk along mrt tracks. it doesn't happen often, and sinkies should seize the opportunity to do so when it arises.

Walk on the track is dangerous, no? Isn't there live wire on the train railings that the passengers have to cross over to get to the platform? What are the odds that someday, one of those fucked up MRT engineers would leave the power on by accident and fry a bunch of pax.

Why don't thye make Penang Cow walk the train tracks one of these days and see how he likes it. What if it was raining heavily?

the 3rd rail by the side of tracks is high voltage and live all the time unless there's a safety or total power shutdown. in an evacuation passengers may inadvertently touch it, and they will fry. there's a safety switch at the nearest station or at control center to shut off power to the 3rd rail during evacuation when stranded in the middle of nowhere. otherwise, sinkies will like char kway teow but smelling like fried shit.

NO compensation for inconvenience caused and NO REFUND for paid MRT Fare? Passengers who underpay far on buses are fined but when MRT breaks down, passengers get NO MONEY refund, even the FINES by LTA don't benefit the commuters for the disruptions. Commuters might even have to suffer MORE from FARE PRICE increases because the PTC approves fare price rises due to falling profits. WARP logic understood only by the DAFT 70%!

The Western regions of SG deserve even MORE disruptions from Pioneer Stn to Joo Koon, they are all PAP supporters!

This will be the norm soon.
Next time commuters will have a walk mrt tracks survival guide....and a instant alert system as to which tracks have human traffic walking on them.
Pap like to work around problems instead of actually solving them...huat to 70%

Will torch light, helmet, mask & toggle ropes be provided? as in Safety Standard ? no ear plugs..or can't hear instructions...

What happen if I refuse to get out and walk ? Will they arrest or fine me ?

and allow me to be in a position to bash and be sarcastic towards sinkie mrt and ball-less sinkie losers... i love thailand.
You fucking ladyboy only knows how to get rammed from behind. That's what you are good at.

Very scenic view of the surrounding countryside. I would post a selfie on instagram.

Definitely. Contracts to procure these items will be reserved for crony $2 companies. Open yet another gravy train. With all the new income opportunities....it's no surprise pappies not keen to fix the problem

Given that its the same fucked up FT staff that caused the train to breakdown in the first place, the confidence is high that one day, the same staff will forget to turn off the live rail and some commuters will get chao tar.

Good thing they did not have to walk during a thunder storm. Since they are elevated and exposed like that, they should be a higher chance that lightning can strike them.
