That is not true. Singaporeans can withdraw their CPF $ at age 55. Only the minimum sum needs to be retained as a prudent measure to ensure the continual availability of funds till old age.

I like these vintage malls with the protruding staircases. Lucky Plaza, Beauty World Centre etc. You can actually get to the next floor without needing to squeeze with others at the escalators. Or wait for a lift that is usually full.

Any idea if the 4D shop is still around? Used to go there to buy 4D/Toto.
