61 arrested in forested areas in Punggol

SINGAPORE: Sixty-one foreign nationals were arrested in the forested areas in Punggol during an operation on Friday night.
The suspects are believed to have used the cover of the forest for various illicit activities such as vice and gambling.
The suspects, comprising men and women, were arrested for wilful trespass on state land or offences under the Women's Charter.
If found guilty, they may be fined up to S$1,000.
