Original title: Taiwan media revealed that five Hong Kong disordered elements "successfully" smuggled into Taiwan, and the Taiwan authorities were embarrassed
(observer's online news) after Guangdong Coast Guard intercepted 12 illegal cross-border personnel who wanted to abscond from Hong Kong to Taiwan, on August 28, the Taiwan media "China Times" revealed that in late July, a ship carrying five criminals in Hong Kong was seized by the Taiwan authorities. At present, the five people were placed in Kaohsiung, but the Taiwan authorities handled it in a low-key manner and issued a "sealed command.".
In this regard, the Taiwan Mainland Affairs Commission neither wishes to confirm nor denies. It is said that this matter makes Tsai ing Wen's authorities feel rather tricky.
Reported that the ship was stolen from Taiwan on the way, because no oil, drifting to the Dongsha Islands, the Taiwan authorities "coast guard department" seized. According to people familiar with the matter, five illegal immigrants were later sent to Kaohsiung for resettlement, and their isolation has ended.
Among them, Wu Zhongqian (24), who was charged with four counts of riot and assaulting the police, and Wen Jiajian (21), who broke into the Hong Kong Legislative Council on July 1 last year. In June this year, when the Hong Kong Court tried Wen Jiajian's case, he was issued an arrest order because he did not appear in court.
Taiwan has become one of the destinations for Hong Kong criminals to evade legal sanctions since the "incident of amendment" in Hong Kong. However, the so-called "humanitarian assistance project" should be launched in June.
The China Times quoted sources as saying that the smuggling of the five people to Taiwan made Tsai ing Wen's authorities feel rather difficult. If they were taken in, it would be like "political asylum", which could also involve the "crime of collusion with foreign or foreign forces to endanger the state" in Hong Kong's national security law. However, if they are repatriated to Hong Kong, they are expected to be arrested immediately, violating the so-called "commitment" of the Taiwan authorities. Therefore, the Taiwan authorities have issued a "password" to prohibit the outflow of information.
Taiwan's Mainland Affairs Commission did not want to confirm the information disclosed by the China times, but did not deny it. Qiu chuizheng, a spokesman for the Mainland Affairs Commission, said on the 27th that "there is no such information to provide.".
Qiu chuizheng also said that illegal entry is both illegal and risky, and the Taiwan authorities "will not encourage them". However, if they seek help from the Taiwan authorities due to "political factors", the latter will deal with relevant cases in accordance with the existing laws and regulations and the so-called "humanitarian principle". He called on people concerned to abide by the law and not to violate the law.
Ma Xiaoguang, a spokesman for the Taiwan Affairs Office, once pointed out that the Taiwan authorities and the Legislature are involved in Hong Kong affairs and even want to provide "rescue" to the criminals. Ma Xiaoguang, spokesman of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the people's Republic of China, once pointed out that this is an open shelter for the illegal and violent terrorist forces, and their attempts will not succeed. If they intervene in Hong Kong affairs, they will surely suffer the consequences.
