SINGAPORE - In a 30-hour island-wide operation that took place between Sept 3 and Sept 4, 2013, police arrested 46 persons for various criminal offences.
Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the six police Land Divisions conducted anti-crime operations at Woodlands, Geylang, Marsiling, and Rochor among others.
A total of 46 persons, comprising 38 men and 8 women, were arrested for various offences, including rioting, extortion, cheating, criminal breach of trust, forgery, carnal connection, as well as theft-related and unlicensed moneylending-related offences.
22 of the arrested persons have been produced in Court, while investigations against the remaining arrested persons are ongoing.
