aiyah. in sillycon valley if you own a house and have paid off your mortgage you should be considered a millionaire. if you have a million $ worth of cash in savings or cd accounts plus a million in 401k plus a paid off property you’re considered a multi-millionaire. a multi-millionaire is very common in sillycon valley. throw a stone and it will hit one.

Of course not, I think only ONE percent should own 99 percent of the wealth.

First of all everyone seems to think that "wealth" is measured in dollars and cents but that's a flawed definition to start with.

Wealth isn't just $$$$ there are many other factors that determine the richness of one's life. A loving family, great friends and a healthy social circle, good health, a sense of purpose etc all contribute towards what is considered to be living the dream.

Do a survey and you might well find that many of those in the top echelons of wealth when measured in monetary terms are actually miserable old sods.

So don't be envious or jealous of those with private jets and super yachts. You probably have more things going for you than they do.

One of NZ's richest men has houses in the best parts of every city and a mansion in Queenstown with a heli pad for his private helicopter. He parties with glamorous models and the rich and famous. However he can't get it up even with Viagra and has to resort to penile injections https://www.urologicalcare.com/erectile-dysfunction/penile-injection-therapy/

He stated in an interview that he would happily give up 99% of his possessions if it meant he could get it up naturally without chemical assistance and I feel the same way. If someone offered me $100 million smackos at the cost of being impotent I'd prefer to keep my functioning manhood anytime.

So don't measure the richness of life by the size of your bank account. There are many other far more important factors.
