Preliminary investigations revealed that the woman acted alone, SPF said.
A 44-year-old woman was arrested after an alleged knife attack involving two other women at Upper Serangoon Road.
In a statement on Oct. 26, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) confirmed that at around 12:20pm, it received a call for assistance at 756 Upper Serangoon Road. This is the address of Upper Serangoon Shopping Centre.
The woman had been detained by members of the public prior to the police's arrival.
The two women, aged 36 and 44, who sustained injuries during the attack, were conveyed conscious to the hospital.
The 44-year-old woman was subsequently arrested for voluntarily causing hurt with a dangerous weapon and will be referred for psychiatric assessment under Section 7(1) of the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act 2008.

Police investigations are currently ongoing.
