42 arrested for various offences in island-wide operation

SINGAPORE - 38 men and four women were arrested in an island-wide operation conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department and the six Police Land Divisions from Oct 15-16.
They are accused of a range of offences including cheating, criminal breach of trust, theft and unlicensed moneylending.
Investigations against the 42 suspects are ongoing, the police said in a statement today.
