A THIRD man alleged to have been involved in a conspiracy to to cheat an insurance company over an accident claim was charged in court on Friday.
Tay Kok Leong, 32, who was the driver of a car, is said to have schemed with Charlie Ong Han Wee, 31, and Andy Ong Thiam Chuan, 32, to cheat by AIG Insurance making a false insurance claim in August 2007.

The case came to light after a ship broker, Mr Henry Phua, 61, who was the driver of the other car involved in the accident, won a two-year battle against being blamed for the crash along Central Expressway.
Tay is also alleged to have made a false police report about the accident by claiming to have a witness, Andy Ong, for the accident.

The prosecution adjourned the case for two weeks until June 25. Tay is now serving a four-month sentence for committing offences under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act.
Both Charlie Ong and Andy Ong have since been charged and a pre-trial conference date has been set for June 24.
