An entry-level Registered Nurse (RN) with less than 1 year experience can expect to earn an average total compensation of S$34 K annually.. An early career Registered Nurse (RN) with 1-4 years of experience earns an average total compensation of S$38-40 K annually. A mid-career Registered Nurse (RN) with >5 years of experience earns an average total compensation of $45-55 K based on 130 salaries. An experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with years of experience earns an average total compensation of S$60 -75 K annually. Specializations also impact salaries for example Staff nurses, Surgical Nurses, Nurse Administrators earn significantly more.

The nurse do not change diapers or give sponge baths. That's the job of the Health Care Assistant.

KNN as far as my uncle know there are 2 kind of nurse KNN 1. Enrolled nurse 2. Staff nurse KNN healthcare asst are non official and in different uniform (usually with a polo t) as EN and usually works on part time basis KNN when a Healthcare asst decides to do fulltime they will be converted to a EN with a uniform KNN staff nurse is the one doing nursing work KNN among staff nurse an entry level will start of as a pte (with no rank on the uniform) KNN if you see 2 lines mostly on the sleeves they are senior staff nurse KNN

Possibly,he already got a 1st subsidised Poly Diploma in Business. So, he's not entitled to a subsidy for his 2nd Poly Diploma in Nursing from NYP.
He can sign on for the PCP sponsored nursing course at NYP ( $30 K full course fees ) but if he did not complete the course successfully,he will have to compensate the
hospital sponsor. He is not confident and do not want to get into any financial problems .
This guy is being responsible for playing it safe KNN some irresponsible kind sign up for the bonded course and failed with several attempts and kpkb that they were asked to compensate the course fee KNN they are given several attempt to resit for the exam but some stoopid ones (mostly of a colour skin) just cannot make it KNN

He previously got a polytechnic diploma in business but could not get good jobs. He can go polytechnic study nursing but its his 2nd diploma so he is not entitled to subsidy. He will have to pay the full course fee which is 30k.

He don't want to sign for the pcp program as he is afraid if he fail the course he will have to pay a large sum of money as compensation.

So he decide to go ite to study nursing. He don't need to support his parents so on weekends he work earn $100 a day. He earn $800 a month enough to support himself.

He is also hoping that he will be lucky can get a 17 years old classmate gf.

Is he stupid?

take nursing as a gateway to opening up other opportunities. there are many other roles involved in nursing such as a coordinator and so on. but nursing is better suited for those who are caring at heart.

Life is tough. TanCJ is known for humiliating residents who went to him for help, saying that government shouldn't spoonfeed them.

Our army generals had a smooth life and worked in a place that they treat people below them as maids. They don't realize that everyone has different starting lines and burden in life. Sincerely

At this point what does it matter?he's a 39 year old loser probably TS himself surfing sbf,it's his life he can do whatever he likes......it's not like he can start a career at this point by the time he graduates he would be 42.......a age where many professionals are starting to get retrenched
.....with 8 to maybe 13 years of employment left before it's time to pick up the taxi vocational license....

Besides nursing is in hot demand anywhere in the world,he could probably get a job while holidaying in any first world country.
most likely ends up changing diapers at nursing homes and not nurseries.

Nothing to be ashamed off. I nurse the senior in my household daily too.
that’s with love and appreciation. those at nursing homes do it for the money but treat elderlies with contempt. in u.s. many are hispanics and niggers who can’t get jobs elsewhere. they need muscle and strength at nursing homes to lift elderlies from beds to wheelchairs and from wheelchairs to wc, bathtub, chairs. there’s much burnt out and frustration after a few short months, and they take it out on the grannies.

Not easy to keep cool handling seniors with dementia. I can understand that.
