38 Oxyley road explaination, did PM Lee HL contradict himself there?
His brother Lee Hsien Yang had to pay him for 38 Oxyley road, which means that in LKY will, LHL received 38 Oxyley road ownership in full (but must allow sister Dr Lee WL to live out her life staying there).

So why would PM LHL siblings take "issue over the compensation" since they were by definition, not entitled to inherit 38 Oxyley road in LKY will?
In any case, given Lee HL micromanaging of the government, it would make little difference whether LHL was executor/ trustee of LKY will since any interference in government business does not significantly premise on whether one is an executor and trustee. Being beneficiary makes all the difference, afaik, since executor still has to follow the exact instructions of the will.
In short, if the will gave 38 Oxyley road to LHL, then why would his siblings dispute the government compensation for 38 Oxyley road any more than any other ordinary Singaporean citizen or tax payer or even PR, concerned more about the squander of Singapore government reserves/ funds since LKY did not will 38 Oxyley road to LHY or Dr LWL.
The facts just don't match here.

“The truth is Mr Lee had not included PM Lee as an executor and trustee in any of his wills from 2011 onwards. Mr Lee had explained to PM Lee that he did not want to put PM Lee in a difficult position, if the Government were to acquire the property and his siblings took issue over the compensation.” https://www.straitstimes.com/singap...ry-xu-for-allegedly-defamatory-online-article
