A total of 32 licensed moneylenders have breached the rules on advertising introduced at the start of this month.
Their errant ways include putting up advertisements outside their business premises.
They have been given warnings, said Law Minister K. Shanmugam on Monday.
Mr Shanmugam - who is also Minister for Foreign Affairs - gave the figure as of Monday last week, in his reply to Mr Alex Yam (Chua Chu Kang GRC), who had asked for an update of the new move to tighten governance of the industry.
