Extracts of an article found in the TODAY'S newspaper, on 1 Nov 2013 Three Chinese nationals were yesterday charged with housebreaking and making off with valuables worth thousands of dollars. Wei Yuandong and Wei Yongjiao, both 24, and Liao Jiali, 28, allegedly broke into a unit in Lorong Sarhad on the evening of Oct 27 and stole jewellery and nine luxury watches worth S$79,000, among other items. The police had received reports of break-ins at three homes along Lorong Sarhad and the Springwood area in Pasir Panjang between 9.10pm and 11.05pm on Oct 27. Cash and valuables amounting to more than S$110,000 were reportedly stolen...... |
