Three unemployed men were charged separately on Monday with using premises along Geylang Road as common gaming houses.

Low Meng Tee, 46, Chia Kim Hai, 38, and R. Affandi Haji Ahmad, 47, allegedly used the places for the purpose of playing a game of chance on online casinos and jackpot games on Sunday at about 1am.

Low is said to have committed the offence while he was on police bail for a similar offence.

A bail of $20,000 was allowed. His case has been scheduled for a pre-trial conference on June 27.
