Is the brown hair ah beng PaP's victor lai?

from TRE
Proving that a leopard cannot change its spots, the PAP’s cronies and the PAP-controlled lapdog sheet Straits Times have started a second attempt to sabotage the WP this time in Hougang.

The leader of this round of sabotage attempt is Victor Lye, the chairman of the PAP-affiliated Citizens’ Consultative Committee (CCC) and his henchman Philip Wee, the chairman of the Bedok Reservoir-Punggol Shops Subcommittee which comes under the CCC.

The sabotage attempt revolves around allegations that the WP town council has been holding too many trade fairs at the communal space near Hougang Mall causing shop owners to suffer a drop in business.

It is strange how the matter concerns Philip Wee since he is the chairman of the Bedok Reservoir-Punggol subcommittee and Hougang Mall is in, well, Hougang.

Victor Lye on the other hand is a very active PAP member and mole planted in Hougang to canvass support for PAP until the next election. Despite not being the elected MP or being a candidate of the PAP, he has been doing the rounds and paying visits to residents in Hougang.

His Facebook page also shows the the PAP is actively courting shop owners, probably to drum up support for 2016.

In its slanted report, the PAP-controlled Straits Times attempted to tarnish Sylvia Lim by claiming that police was called when some shopkeepers paid a visit to the town council to speak to Sylvia. It however failed to provide an account of what exactly went on during that visit.

It is baffling why the lapdog sheet has deemed it necessary to give this matter prominent coverage while it conveniently ignored a dispute between a group of 20 Chinatown hawker centre stallholders and the cleaning company early this month. This is the same hawker centre that has been grappling with poor maintenance standards resulting in plates piling up on tables and on the floor.

Furthermore, trade fairs are very common and are frequently held in PAP-controlled Ang Mo Kio and Serangoon.

The prominent coverage given to this matter in Hougang by the lapdog sheet and the involvement of an active PAP member Victor Lye and the his henchman Philip Wee all point to this being a repeat of the hawker centre centre cleaning episode in which PAP and Vivian Balakrishnan emerged appearing small minded and incompetent.
