23 year old Malaysian woman arrested by CNB for $65,000 worth of heroin and marijuana

Only 23 years old, and her whole life is ending very soon. She knows she'll 100% be sentenced to death by hanging under Singapore law. Imagine how she must have felt upon her arrest, and how she must be feeling right now.

Unfortunately drug trafficking is no longer mandatory death penalty, it can be life imprisonment, in fact the conditions are quite lenient to qualify.

This case can fight. Defence lawyer use my statistics for daily life taken due to pappy policies vs life taken by drugs. The former is much more.

She can pray her stash is of inferior quality from her supplier.
These people though not deserving pity aren't the big boys....only low ranked runners.
Pap way will never solve the problem.....maybe they dun want to as the drug lords are their paymasters

Although to be frank, it seems that death penalty is not stopping drug mules. $65,000 is a lot to m&ds, I guess.

There were a time, I used to commute between Singapore & Johor Baru on a regular basis ( WKS time of MSK), I used to take both the legal this & "illegal" taxis. In one of the conversation I asked these drivers about the 'drug traffickers' why they know it is death sentence & they do it, "FOR THE MONEY"..The drivers told me they had been stopped by customs & some traffickers were caught riding their taxis...but, usually, they said, " they already had information"....the arrest was without fuss & bother.... Why they do it, knowing, what the penalty is..." death"....the money is good, if they can make a successful run...

you are very correct to say that. PAP is good at arresting small time drug runner and small time debt collectors.
the real drug kingpin and loan sharks are actually enjoying good life in Singapore.
