The Elections Department (ED) has released the results of overseas
voting.

3,415 Singaporeans abroad cast their votes in the GE just ended. The votes
cast at 10 overseas polling stations were counted in Singapore yesterday (15
Sep). In total, there are only 4,868 registered overseas electors, even though
there are more than 200,000 Singaporeans working overseas.

The voting pattern largely mirrored that of Singaporeans voting in
Singapore.

There were 52 rejected votes.

In a close fight where the local votes are inconclusive, the result for an
electoral division will be deferred until the overseas votes are counted, ED
said.

Here is how overseas voters voted:

WP candidate Yee Jenn Jong was present at the counting of overseas votes
yesterday.

He later wrote on his Facebook page:

Used my candidate’s pass for the final time this GE as we went to the ELD
Training Centre at Victoria Street to witness the counting of votes cast
overseas.

A special thanks to those who made the great effort to travel to the few
voting centres overseas to fulfill their citizen’s duties. While we know that
the number of overseas votes are too small to affect the outcome of the
elections, making a trip here is our gesture to acknowledge those who made the
special effort to vote from afar.
Earlier, Mr Yee revealed he had cleared out his locker in Parliament in
preparation for new MPs entering Parliament after GE2015.

He was an NCMP in the last Parliament.

Even overseas voters were given pens with magic ink. The deviousness of PAP knows no bounds.

Overseas Singaporeans shouldn't vote. Because they are not living in Singapore, they should not dictate the future directions of Singaporeans who are actually living in Singapore and suffer under the PAP regime. Its not fair to overseas Singaporeans to determine the lives of Singaporeans living in Singapore.

These should be determined by residents actually living in Singapore.

This should be a holistic approach to self determination and hope for the future.

Fair enough?
