It's been over 20 years. The Scamdemic has come and gone. Real suspects still at large. Case still unsolved.

Ram Tiwary, supposedly SAF scholar and commando officer, scared sh*tless by the overwhelming violence of the murders as his flatmates and fellow SAF officers were being bludgeoned to death that all he could do was hide and cower uncontrollably inside his room utterly paralysed by fear.

A Violent Act - Perspectives on a double murder
Acquitted after eight years in prison, Ram Tiwary is now a free man. But the case of the 2003 student murders in Sydney remains open.

Forensic expert witnesses would later testify that the blood splatter patterns on Tiwary's clothes indicated that he was not the one holding the murder weapon and bludgeoning the victims. Had that been so, the blood splatter patterns on Tiwary's clothes would have been very different.

IIRC, Tiwary did not pass his Ranger course.

Yet, from what I read, he gave the impression to those around him, that he is Ranger qualified.

There is a flaw in his cognitive reasoning.

Whether red beret or ranger tab, you are afterall still only flesh and bones.

Alone and unarmed and facing an aggressor or aggressors who are committed to using violence on you, your red beret and ranger tab will be the last thing on your mind. Like Ram Tiwary, you will be cowering inside your room, completely paralysed by fear.

Unless you are built like this SAS operator

Real violence like what happened to Ram Tiwary and his two flatmates and other victims of violence is very different from what you see in the movies or even combat sports like ONE Championship. Real violence is chaotic, unplanned, and unpredictable.

Even this professional MMA fighter barely came through a real life violent home invasion. In interviews the MMA fighter admitted that the home invasion left him feeling insufficient a little bit when he always thought of himself as being such a badass. He also admitted that he didn’t know it was possible to be that terrified. And it was just a single unarmed home invader that he had to fend off. Had it been multiple armed attackers the story could have ended very differently.

So nevermind about what red beret or Ranger tab or your thrice-a-week MMA sessions at McDojo.
