20-year-old theft suspect arrested

SINGAPORE : Police have arrested a 20-year-old man believed to be responsible for a series of thefts of motorcycle parts in Singapore's northeast region.
He is believed to have stolen the motorcycle parts in Fernvale, Sengkang, Punggol and Hougang towns.
The parts stolen were usually brake pumps and brake levers, which were valued at between S$200 and S$350.
The suspect will be charged with theft of motorcycle parts, which carries a punishment of a jail term of up to seven years, and a fine.
