　　近年来，新加坡前往中国实习交流的大学生有所增加。《联合早报》援引新加坡国立大学的数据显示，在刚结束的2016至2017学年，共有330名本科生参加了学校的各类中国实习交流项目。其中，参加交换生计划和短期交流项目的学生人数比2013年翻了一倍。

　　荆理阳和黄詠馨就是两位亲历者。作为新加坡国立大学的本科在读生，今年夏天，他们通过学校海外学院的项目，申请到中国实习交流。过去5年，新加坡国立大学有超过280名本科生在北京和上海参加了海外学院为期半年或一年的实习交流项目。他们在北京或上海的一些初创公司担任全职实习生，同时在这些城市的名牌大学修读一两门专业课程。

　　修读政治学专业的黄詠馨正在北京一家小型企业“聪明空气”实习，工作内容是社交媒体和项目运营；9月开学后，她还到北京大学修读与创业相关的课程。“选择来北京实习是因为中国正在快速发展。中国已经是世界第二大经济体，还有很大的发展潜力和空间。” 去年，黄詠馨曾到南京支教，这让她喜欢上了南京，也了解到南京大学的学生在学习和未来就业上的压力，“我特别欣赏中国大学生的学习态度，来这里体验实习生的生活，让我对他们有更直接、更真实的认知。”

　　荆理阳从今年7月初至12月，在中国的自由行服务平台蚂蜂窝旅游网实习，实习内容是酒店运营；9月开学后，他也会到北京大学继续研修。荆理阳告诉本报记者，“中国政府鼓励大众创业，许多新的产业模式诞生、新的产业领导者崛起。我未来想在旅游领域创业，到中国实习正是一个好机会。”接受采访当天，荆理阳参加了部门的会议。“当时，公司首席运营官突然走过来，看我们在干什么，然后直接坐下和我们聊天”，这让荆理阳很兴奋，“公司环境比较开放，没有想象中那样等级制度分明，可以跟上级畅所欲言、交流想法，这给年轻人提供很多成长机会”。

　　中国的快速发展让新加坡年轻人对中国产生越来越大的兴趣。新加坡国立大学副教务长陈清贤表示，过去5年有越来越多学生对中国的实习交流项目感兴趣，这是个好现象。“中国是世界上经济增长速度最快的国家之一，能为学生提供一系列发展机会。国立大学也致力于培养面向未来的栋梁之材，因此我们鼓励学生更深入地了解中国。”

　　去年，新加坡南洋理工大学同样为本科生开放了海外创业实习计划。作为海外创业实习计划的首批5名学生之一，蔡伟杰2016年3月到清华大学电子工程系交换，除了每周上一天课之外，其余时间他都投入到聚美优品公司的实习中。

　　“这次实习经历让我大开眼界。”蔡伟杰说，他了解到公司运营的方方面面，从销售、市场营销、技术开发、数据分析、投资到客户管理。这段宝贵的实习经历，也改变了他对中国的看法，“以前我认为新加坡比中国更先进，我的想法显然错了。”他向记者讲起新加坡当地人对中国的一个感受，“在北京，任何东西都有APP，超级方便！”（俞懿春）

I don't think so! There are mutual compromises. I believe VB got the commie chinks to acknowledge the red dot as the de facto head of ASEAN while the commie chinks got VB to make compromises on the South China Sea stance. It's a win-win situation. The Americans will still be here. Check out the F-18 fighter jets roaring away at Paya Lebar daily. Those don't belong to red dot.

Besides, given the tense situation on the Korean peninsula, any mad move by Fat Kim to attack the US will seriously cripple China's fragile debt-laden economy. Not making an enemy out of red dot is prudent insurance should they require our help.
