經濟不景氣，台灣有許多人找不到工作，不過剛開放博奕業的新加坡，卻有業者逆勢操作來台徵才，開出1800個職缺，提供民眾跨海就業，月薪台幣6萬元起跳，不過應徵者必須先繳將近10萬的學費，上完課後還不保證錄取，想參加可得考慮清楚。

新加坡博奕業者正式和台灣學校簽約，說要來台灣徵才，其中像發牌員(荷官)最基本的薪水，一個月台幣6萬至12萬，一天工作8小時，這樣的優渥的待遇很誘人，但應徵者必須要經過身家背景調查。另外，到新加坡工作的住宿費不用自己出，因為賭場(Casino)會讓員工通通住在一起以便控管。

新加坡最大的金沙集團針對台灣、大陸釋出1800個名額，預定5月份來台面試，而有賭場的郵輪業者，每個月則對台灣開放200個工作機會，只是全球不景氣，難道新加坡沒有博奕人才嗎？

新加坡博奕業者James表示，現在新加坡總共有5、6家學校，培訓出來的學生還不到3000人，金沙有1000個博奕台，最少在荷官發牌員這部分，就需要約6000人。

不過要得到這份工作可不容易，必須先花錢上課，在台灣80個小時的課程，學費3萬元起跳，到新加坡實習的5天課程也得自費，大約5萬元左右，上課期間沒有薪水，也沒有零用錢，換句話說還沒正式工作，10萬的鈔票就已經先飛了。

James指出，「博奕行業是高薪行業，畢竟少數的人懂得這個行業，你(應徵者)不去專業培訓，你就不可能有工作，雖然我也沒辦法保證說一定有工作，但是台灣開了(博奕)，那就百分百你有工作。」

想要得到這份工作感覺也像在博奕，還要賭一下運氣跟機會，只不過新加坡到現在賭場還沒正式對外經營，台灣離島博奕條款也才通過不到一個月，高薪光環之下可得謹慎三思。

If this is true, then my earlier suspicion that th IRs will not provide much jobs for Singaporeans is not unfounded.

Singaporean casino worker pay SG$1800. Need to pay CPF 14.5% by employer. Work only 40hr/week extra hr is OT.

As this is the first time Singapore is opening up casino, we do not have experienced professionals or experts in this field, so we need to invite and welcome foreign talents in to help us on this. If Singaporeans willing to take up the courses and training in the casino-related areas, I am sure they will have the chance to get a job in the casino. One important note that Singaporeans should not be too fussy and particular about the jobs they are applying for. Good luck.

tot that there are always headlines indicating that jobs are abundant in the two IRs even with the current recession....

seem like with 500 FT from macau and an additional of 1800 FT from taiwan, there is no more left for the local SINGAPOREANS....whats the purpose of having an IR just to boost the employment of foreigners ah

look that IRs serve no purpose at all other than to deprive Singaporeans of EVERYTHING...:(

Typical mistake by short-sighted bosses. What about the quality of the worker? Dirt-cheap workers jack up many costs not directly linked to money, like morale problems, discipline problems, training/ language problems.

IN the first place who teach Taiwanese. That is a very important question. If sinkie do not know that answer, they will forever keep learning from others which is like 2nd class.
