17 trees uprooted early Sunday

The winds were strong yesterday (1 Aug 10) and I was not surprised trees had been uprooted. Why though did reports not appear earlier to warn people of expected jams, etc.?

Also, I heard rumours of flooding in the Bt Timah area. Can anyone confirm or refute this?
