SINGAPORE - Foreign workers living in dormitories made up 488 of the 528 new Covid-19 cases here on Thursday (April 30).
It was also the seventh day in a row where the new daily infections fell below 1,000.
This brings the total number of coronavirus cases in Singapore to 16,169.
A 58-year-old woman also died on Thursday from complications due to Covid-19 infection, bringing the total number of such deaths to 15.
She was confirmed to have the virus on March 26, and is Case 703.
Ng Teng Fong General Hospital has reached out to her family and is extending assistance to them, said MOH.
Foreign workers living outside dormitories made up 31 cases. The other nine new cases in the community include 6 Singaporeans and permanent residents and 3 work pass holders.
