154th Helps PRs Air Unhappiness Over Stricter Subletting Rules

At least there is now a difference between pr and citizen. Gov should start showing priority between Singaporean and pr.

nothing substantial la dude...all a bunch of wayang tactics with their usual smoke and mirros show to delude the dumbass sinkie sheep....please dont be fooled....

Very soon, those PRs will realize that complain so much also no use, just like how the citizens feel.

I do feel it is unfair for HDB to change their rules abruptly overnight. After all some may have made their investment decisions based on their ability to rent out. Instead HDB should have changed the rules to apply to new PR buyers and yet phase out this ability to rent out flats over a period of years. Perhaps still allow them to rent out but capped at no more than 5 years starting today.

The error in the first place lies in HDB allowing PRs to rent but changes of such rules should be gradual. BTW this has nothing to do with PR vs citizen debate.

yeah...what kinda BS is that?

We are talking about the "fairness" of letting PUBLIC housing be abused and manipulated for profit by foreigners and that includes ALL non-citizens PRs or otherwise..

Yeah we should be talking about the unfairness suffered by Singaporeans due to the slow and late action of HDB to correct wrong practice. Anyway, 5 years are still too long a period to allow PRs to rent out, should not allow them to rent out at all!
