10 killed as overloaded bus rolls over in Gansu

A bus overloading with migrant workers dumped to one side in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Gansu Province around 8pm yesterday. At least 10 people died.
The bus, heading to Gaolan County in Lanzhou, capital of Gansu Province from Yunnan Province, rushed beyond road and rolled over when passing G213 highway. Eight passengers on the bus died on the spot. Two people died on the way to the hospital and four others were severely injured.
The bus was overloaded with 61 passengers as it should be loaded with 55 people at most. There were 12 minors among passengers on the bus.
The cause is under further investigation.
