【星島日報報道】有港大學生於西藏珠穆朗瑪峰大本營懷疑被公安扣查,入境處早上證實接獲求助,並聯絡上有關大學負責人跟進。港大發言人表示,全部學生已經獲釋。另外,內地環球網在微博上表示,一批遊客昨日早上在珠穆朗瑪峰大本營遇到約10名香港學生,當中有一人手持「港獨」標語,另一名學生為其拍照,有遊客發現後上前與學生理論,雙方發生爭執於是報警。當地警方接報到場,將學生帶走。
港大發言人較前早表示,十分關注學生的情況,目前所知涉及8名港大學生、一名科大學生,及另一家本地大學的學生,從內地部門了解到目前學生安全,正按程序接受調查。發言人表示,港大校長張翔十分擔心學生安全,並已電郵去信有關部門詢問,從內地部門了解到目前學生安全,正按程序接受調查。港大已經要求相關部門盡快處理,讓學生早日回港,亦已經聯絡學生家人,盡力提供協助。
