Yeah lots of fancy $6000 carbon wheels on the bikes of those who are being dropped.

I stayed away from this OCBC cycle, I cycled for the last 4 years but
now to take part you have to pay $108.00 for free jersey!! wtf!

When I signed up my first OCBC it cost $58.00! now $108.00!!

Pure money making by Spectrum Ozzie company at the expenses of OCBC bank!!

OCBC Cycle rider dies after sustaining serious head injuries during Sunday's event :(

FULL-TIME National Serviceman Chia Wee Kiat, 24, has died from head injuries which he suffered on Sunday, during an accident at the OCBC Cycle Singapore.

Mr Chia, who was a first-timer at the annual ride, hurt himself at Benjamin Sheares Bridge soon after the start of the 59km Super Challenge.

He was brought by ambulance to the Singapore General Hospital where he underwent a 13-hour surgery, and remained in the intensive care unit since.

Investigations are still ongoing as to how Mr Chia fell. Witnesses gave contrasting accounts of the accident. One said that he fell on his own at high speed, while another said he was involved in a crash with others.

RIP fellow Singaporean. :(

RIP, Wee Kiat.

Life isn't fair. Young cyclist with his entire life ahead of him dies. Tinpot dictator pushes 90 and continues to terrorize.
