According to Lawless Wong, Ng Chee Meng won't be assigned a position in the cabinet for the time being because the latter personally requested it.
Is that the real reason or was it something else?
Ng Chee Meng got to know Vang Shuiming a.k.a. Wang Shuiming through Su Haijin. Vang introduced many projects in China to Ng.
Ng and his cousins-in-law invested in some of Vang's Chinese projects whose main sources of funds were dubious.
Ever since Ng was fielded to run as a candidate in the 14th general election, he has been trying to disentangle himself from his association with crooked Vang.
Thanks and no thanks to Ng, the Ah Tiongs now have leverage over the PAP gabrament. They may threaten to expose or drop not too subtle hints about Ng's corrupt dealings in Cheena if Pinky or Lawless Wong refuses to cooperate with Eleven Jinping.
Compared to Corrupt Ng, Ong Ye Kung is less corrupt than the former. Less corrupt Ong got Su Haijin and Vang to invest in his in-laws' local (read: Sinkie) investments.
The least exposed is Chee Hong Tat. True, he had dinner with Su Haijin but that was as far as the association between the two goes.
Were Pinky and Lawless Wong aware of the above dealings? Of course. They both knew the facts before Parliament was dissolved to make way for the 14th general election. Do note that Su and Vang were grilled by CPIB for days and what both of them revealed was detailed in the CPIB's reports submitted to Pinky. Sinkies must remember that Pinky and Lawless Wong have direct control over CPIB.
When Empress Ho got to know what Corrupt Ng had done in Cheena, she flew into a rage. She got her personal assistant to call the latter. During the mostly one-way phone conversation, she berated Corrupt Ng and expressed her disappointment in him.
Nevertheless blood is thicker than water and Empress Ho promised Corrupt Ng her royal protection. But she also expressly forbade Ng to take up any cabinet position for the time being until he had fully extricated himself from the corrupt investments in Cheena.
Sinkies learned in the state-controlled media that Corrupt Ng had requested not to be given any cabinet position. it was all a lie dished out by Pinky and Lawless Wong. It was their ploy to hoodwink unsuspecting Sinkies.
Question
If you were Pinky or Lawless Wong, what would you do to Corrupt Ng? Keep him or ask him to resign/withdraw from his MP position?
