桃園地檢署上週四指揮調查局等單位，搜索位於桃園龜山的台灣民政府中央會館和祕書長林志昇夫婦的蘆竹豪宅，在衣櫃中發現1億3000多萬元現鈔。檢方指出，超過百名民眾指控林志昇夫妻涉嫌詐欺，調查後還發現另有欠稅、洗錢等問題。多名曾擔任台灣民政府「高官」的被害人告訴本刊，林志昇光透過他們騙取的資金就超過10億元，檢調找到的款項不過九牛一毛，實際上贓款的流向不明。
「天啊！怎麼這麼多錢！」負責搜索台灣民政府祕書長林志昇桃園蘆竹豪宅的調查員，拉開衣櫃門，看到一捆捆百萬元的新台幣千元大鈔塞滿衣櫃，不由驚呼。5月10日上午，桃園地檢署偕同調查局、龜山分局等單位，搜索位於桃園龜山的台灣民政府中央會館及林志昇豪宅，除查扣9把空氣槍和鎮暴槍，更在衣櫃發現1億3000餘萬元夾雜外幣的現鈔。

檢調大動作搜出不法所得後，林志昇喊冤：「錢都是我妻子（林梓安）賣精品賺的！」但檢方仍以防止脫產為由，將他名下7個存有2300多萬元的帳戶、5筆總價8000餘萬元的土地房產聲請扣押，並將夫妻倆收押禁見。

The Taoyuan Prefecture Prosecutor’s Office commanded the Investigation Bureau and other units on Thursday to search for the Luzhu Mansion of the Central Hall of the Taiwanese Government and the Secretary-General Lin Zhisheng of the Taiwanese People’s Government in Guishan, Taoyuan, and found more than RMB 130 million in cash in the closet.
