After not visiting China for ages, I was surprised to find their “silent” contributions to address pollution in 2 second tier cities:
1) All motorcycles are electric only and capped at 40kmh
2) they have separate motorcycle/bicycle lane
3) they stop issuing plastic bags at supermarket other than paid
4) they have trucks spraying water going around to reduce dusts
