famiLEE LEEgime's corrupted law specified clearly that even within a 6 seat GRC, no by-election will be held to fill any parliamentary seat vacancy even when 5 of the 6 MP are dead in that GRC! This fraud clearly deprive few hundred thousand electorates of rightful parliamentary representation in terms of voting in parliamentary decisions, to suffer a lost of 5 votes when they are supposed to have 6!</div>

I don't see the fraud at all uncle Yap. The system applies to all parties. So if Sylvia, Pritam, Low and Chen disappear, there will still be no need for a BE. What are you talking about?

    3 possibilities:

    1. Flash player limitation update flash player version
    2. Video Codec (broken) issue reinstall flash
    3. Too high quality 1920x1080 or too big screen that your CPU can not cope, reduce size of playback screen or view in 720 or 360 quality

Flash sucks some time, and youtube is changing to HTML5 in transition. Try different browser also. Even on mobile phones some times flash video plays back with sound OK but video at wrong speed. like screen on fast forward. For your case it is screen stuck to black. I had seen that before. Power Off & On the phone was the solution which worked at that time for me.

Some times, try to play back from middle of video 1st, it became OK. Then move the cursor to the beginning to watch.

This video was uploaded 1920x1080 to youtube. File was 2.5 GB, very Siong. :*:

I also wonder if the new HTML 5.0 seperated the audio steam apart from video stream or not, and if so when the network (speed) issue is bad, could you be getting only the audio stream only while your video stream could not catch up?

Uncle Yap, I find that the party-list proportional representation system of voting to be quite attractive.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Party-list_proportional_representation

If we use this system, we can guarantee to have at least 30% to 40% of seats going to the opposition parties.

Why is it that the opposition parties in Singapore are not calling for a change of voting system when it can benefit them more, rather than nitpicking on the flaws of GRC and harping on the merits of SMC?

If we use the party-list proportional representation system, then there is no concept of physical territory such as GRC or SMC. We can do away with Town Councils, which I feel are redundant institutions. The role of Town Councils should be fulfilled by HDB and NEA.

Since there is no concept of physical territory of GRC or SMC, nation-wide voters cannot depend on the voters of any particular GRC or SMC sending in opposition parties into parliament. This will force voters to make their choices more carefully, instead of relying on the voters of a particular GRC or SMC.

To ensure minority representation, we can stipulate for example: For the first 10 candidates listed, 2-3 must be minority candidates; For the next 10 candidates listed, again 2-3 must be minority candidates; and so on and so forth.
