HONG KONG: The entertainment websites here are reporting that actor/singer Ricky Hui died on Tuesday after suffering a heart attack.
The 65-year Ricky, the younger brother to Michael Hui and Sam Hui, starred in numerous films from the 70s to late 90s, besides being an established Canto-pop singer.
According to the Asian Movie Pulse website (http://www.asianmoviepulse.com), his most famous role was in the Sammo Hung produced 1985 cult movie series ‘Mr Vampire’.
He also received rave reviews for his role in the comedy “Chicken and Duck Talk’.
