A host of Chinese stars have just finished recording a special music video as a special message
of good luck from China to London, ahead of the London 2012 Olympic Games. "Best Wishes From
Beijing" is the sister song of the 2008 theme song, "Beijing Welcomes You".
Renowned young dancer, Liu Yan, was one of those taking part in the video shoot. 30-year-old Liu was
supposed to be one of the stars of the Beijing opening ceremony in 2008. But lady luck was not on her
side, as she was badly injured in a rehearsal a few days before the event. But Liu Yan says she’s very
happy to be involved in the Olympics this time around.
The star lineup also includes big names such as Jackie Chan, Fan Bingbing, Lang Lang, and Han Geng.
"Best Wishes From Beijing" will be released on July 22nd, and broadcast on CCTV 1 on July 27th to
coincide with the opening of the London Olympic Games.
