He previously paid tribute to the late monarch, saying after arriving in the UK: "You were fortunate to have had her for 70 years, we all were. The world's better for her."
Biden is the only world leader who has been able to arrive the Abbey under his own steam, arriving in a "scaled down" motorcade of six cars.

The rest of the world's leaders have been arriving via coach.

China's vice-president heading to funeral

Chinese vice-president Wang Qishan has arrived at the Royal Hospital Chelsea ahead of the Queen's funeral.

A long motorcade of diplomatic and police vehicles sped down Lower Sloane Street towards the Royal Hospital, stranding pedestrians in the middle of a zebra crossing, carrying Mr Wang to the buses that will take him and other world leaders to Westminster Abbey.

His presence at Westminster Abbey today is somewhat controversial.
It is understood the Chinese delegation was refused permission by the House of Commons to attend the Queen's lying in state at Westminster Hall.

Fake Melayu went with her husband. Was her husband there with her?
The one ahead of her is her hubby? Not sure. If so, she should be walking ahead of her hubby. She's the President of Singapore. Her husband ought to walk behind. Cock up.

Procession to Westminster Abbey begins

The state gun carriage carrying the Queen's coffin has begun its funeral procession from the Palace of Westminster to Westminster Abbey.

The coffin has been draped in the Royal Standard and carries the Imperial State Crown and a wreath of flowers containing plants from the gardens of Buckingham Palace, Clarence House and Highgrove House.

Leading the procession are around 200 pipers and drummers of Scottish and Irish Regiments, the Brigade of Gurkhas and RAF.

Walking behind the carriage are the King and his siblings, followed by the Prince of Wales, Duke of Sussex and Peter Phillips.

The carriage has also been previously used for the funerals of King Edward VII, King George V, King George VI, Winston Churchill, and Lord Mountbatten.
