It is good for the rest of the world that Trump is POTUS.This shows just how versatile Trump can be..... real estate developer, reality TV star, actor and 2X president.... and now Pope if he wanted to. it cannot get any better than that.

The decline of the USA is assured and accelerating.
Boss, you live at the southern tip of the southern hemisphere. This could explain why your view is upside down.Decline? Things have never been better and are heading towards a golden age.![]()

From my limited understanding, the term deep state and globalists denote people who operate beyond national governments and boundaries to advance their own goals. This has always been the case throughout history. People will work with like-minded people nationally and internationally to achieve common objectives, most often monetary. Nothing wrong with that, hence we have MNCs, film production companies hiring an international cast on a movie, international franchises, etc. No country wants to exist in isolation, even North Korea. The US has declined over the years but it hasn't been because of Trump it's because the country has been sold out by globalists within the deep state.
The USA has been run from behind the scenes for the last 4 years (and earlier) and it most certainly has NOT been governed with the citizens of the USA at heart. Biden didn't have a clue what was going on. It truly was a case of the deep state running the show from the shadows and enriching themselves no end. Ask yourself how the Obamas are worth 100 million or more from a career politician's salary. Shan's bungalow scandal pales in comparison. Obama has 7 properties each worth multi millions. Biden's auto pen was probably running hot throughout his term.
The scams exposed by DOGE reveal the depth of corruption involving taxpayer dollars with NGOs playing a central role in the money laundering process. Government dispenses money to NGO with a fancy sounding name and the dollars flow back into the pockets of the politicians as political party donations, speaking engagements and other nefarious deals.
Reminds me of the tricks played by City Harvest Church and people went to jail for their crimes. On the other hand US politicians appear to operate beyond the laws of the land. Perhaps Pam Bondi will actually do something but I doubt anything will come to fruition.
Trump is no saint but to suggest that the country would have been better off with Kamala at the helm is naive to put it mildly. It certainly would have been more of the status quo which would please the rest of the players in this deeply corrupt system no end.
Trump gets such a huge amount of pushback not because of his policies but because he's attempting to rip out the heart of the beast. Nobody, Republican or Democrat has tried to do that in the last half a century at least. They have all played by the rules set in place to enrich those in charge along with their cronies.

When it comes to politicians, yes they shouldn't line their own pockets at the expense of the country. This is wrong but we see it happening now and then across governments in different countries. This is corruption and corrupt politicians should be punished. The law should go after them, and prove their case. Collect info/data from every source and lay out the charges. If they can't, then there is no case.
You said Trump wants to weed out the globalists within the deep state. But he is shadow boxing. Because "deep state" and globalisation have always been around since civilisations evolved. Hence he's lashing out at everybody (friend and foe), destabilising the world economy, fanning inflation, creating uncertainty and hardship for everyone. We are giving him undue credit because I think he doesn't know what he's doing most of the time. He takes action then retracts, not a very inspiring guy if you ask me.
My guess is his presidency will be remembered as a stain in US history and a temporary setback for humanity's progress.
Billionaires have always ran the world and will continue to do so until the earth goes extinct in about a billion years. Trump is just sore that he's not a member of Club "deep state". I mean, who the hell can stand him? He's pompous, arrogant and dumb. And he's widely deemed to be untrustworthy too.In order to rebuild you first have to demolish. Whether he builds back better only time will tell.
However I agree with Trump that the status quo cannot remain. There has to be a shake up. It has happened in industries and what emerges is always better. Now let's do the same with the world order which has been determined via the strategy of the WEF an organisation led by billiionaires that nobody in any country ever voted for. At least Trump can claim a mandate. Davos leadership has none.
Trump is now taking a cudgel to the current world order that benefits a select group. The Covid response and mandates revealed how it operated and I did not like what I saw. Everyone had to tow the line, doctors, politicians, law enforcement, financial institutions all fell in line to feed the system so that those truly in charge were the ones that benefited You could be comfortable with the scenario that unfolded I was horrified.
In international politics the concept "friendship" between countries differs from human relationships where a "friend" is someone you grew up with. In relationships between countries there are no friends just alliances from common interests. In the case of the USA I have to agree with Trump that the friends of the USA have been taking advantage of them since the 2nd world war ended.
There is nothing inherently wrong with trying to redefine these relationships in a more balanced manner.
Why are you wasting your time debating with that Ah Leong? It's very clear that he's the type of person who:Billionaires have always ran the world and will continue to do so until the earth goes extinct in about a billion years. The alliance between countries is almost always dependent on the friendship between their leaders. Human relationships set the tone for good international relations. For instance, under Najib and Pinky, our two countries were madly in love.
As I have mentioned elsewhere in the forum, the US sets itself up as the dominant power after WW2. It provides aid to the world in exchange for fealty. US tech, arms, and it's service industry also have a ready world market which is friendly to them. The world in return has made the US one of the wealthiest countries in the world. And certainly the most powerful. No one is ripping the US off, as Trump likes to claim. Hence, operating under this mistaken notion, he's tearing his country apart, together with the existing world order which has given everyone peace and prosperity for 80 years. He's just an angry, clueless and senile old fool who should not have been president.
I didn't know what "cudgel" was, had to google it. Why couldn't you have used "club or heavy stick"? But hey I learned a new word, so yeah.
I respect your view, and see where you're coming from. I just don't agree with it.

Always like to use economist's speak to fake out and make his audience think that he knows what he's talking about. And he'll never ever admit that he's wrong, exactly like that Yellow Buffoon which you and I know very well. That's why both of them are like twins.
What a loser you are? Offended but cannot fight back right. Only I can expose you to prove you wrong. This is beyond your comprehension so butt off. Stick to commenting about my bicycle videos.
Never mind lah bro. Today is holiday, got some time to put my thoughts down. BTW, trump is widely known to be orange not yellow. He looks orange because of the spray tan he uses often. Else, he'll be pasty white like a corpse. Why are you wasting your time debating with that Ah Leong? It's very clear that he's the type of person who:

Hopefully he contracts cancer and dies soon.Never mind lah bro. Today is holiday, got some time to put my thoughts down. BTW, trump is widely known to be orange not yellow. He looks orange because of the spray tan he uses often. Else, he'll be pasty white like a corpse.
