Why online scams are claiming victims among the educated and well-off?

Because they are not street smart, only textbook smart.

Even though they have first class honors degree in banking and finance, worship crypto gurus, religiously follow TEDx speakers and 'investment sexperts' (*LMAO*), they are dumb and have zero situational awareness.

And yes there are the emotionally weak and vulnerable as well, spinsters and bachelors who genuinely believe that finally a man or woman is really showing an interest in them even if it's just online or on telegram or whatsapp.

You misunderstood my earlier posts owing to your lack of intellect; that makes me really sad .... for you. I only directed my remarks at ITE grads who showed no ambition, drive and propensity to make something of their lives. I am sure there are former ITE students who have risen to greater heights through sheer hard work and willingness to overcome all odds.

My conclusion on what he wrote on this thread itself: He is indirectly admitting he is looking down on low SES (the poor) and believing the poor (low SES HDB dwellers & neighbourhood school boys from poor families) hate him (he is rich and from ACS). This is really sad if every ACS boy is like him.
