If you think Ah Tony is independent, think again, PAP mandarins are endorsing him and papers gave him big coverage !
Howcome ah bock and Mr tan kin lian are not given the same treatment ?
If Tony were president, would you see change ? Or you see another 6 nathan years ?

Insofar, if PE candidates are qualified, either Ah Bock or Kin Lian will be the best persons for president !

Chinese saying---no wind where got waves right !

Mr Tan Kin Lian has said it all, PE is about reserves and investments and CPF ! This is the nationwide interest !

Voters want answers not rhetoric like uniting the sinkaporeans, tell you, if all pockets got money, you think they dun know what to do ?
Last GE saw 60% voted PAP. so you see the deed of growth share ? The job to unite is the PM’s job right ! Where got such thing president doing the unification, he cannot give growth share right !

Sinkapore has got big reserves, but what the people had benefited ?
If the small country is so rich, why Public housing is so very expensive and public housing price some more links to reserves, so scary right !

I have no relationship with Mr Tan kin Lian, why smear him when he gives the best promises to the voters right !
If you dun like him, you can vote for the PAP endorsed one or Ah bock to unite sinkaporeans right !

Another 6 years of fairy-tale economy is too hard to bear , think again, life in sinkapore will not change, you will see WP still hold Aljunied and win another 2 GRCs but the majority is not reached yet !

You need a president to wake up the sinkaporeans, this is the gist of the PE !
Majority sinkaporeans are still very daft , this is the ground truth !

Whether there are answers or no answers but at least people know what is going on in sinkapore !
Whether there is a key or no key, it is Ok, at least the people know right!

Yes, the only person who is capable of effecting a change in Singapore politics is Tan Kin Lian and not Tan Cheng Bock.

Shit Times also deliberately chose a not so glamarous photo of TKL and TCB. As for Tony Tan, they selected his well-groomed picture to enlarge for public view. We are not interested in how the candidate look like under cosmetic, we want them to be genuine and people-centric. We want a people president with a heart and not PAP-backed puppet president. If we have had enough of SR Nathan, than Tony Tan is not a good candidate Singaporeans want.

Vote Tan Kin Lian so that he can watch over PM's gambling wife. Our money is ours, not her. Tan Kin Lian will protect the people reserves while Tony Tan will protect PAP. The choice is clear. Singaporeans can be stupid once when they voted for PAP again, I hope they don't err the 2nd time.

hi myfoot123, going thru the posts in this forum on the PE, Tan Kin Lian is not well liked here, Anyway, this is only a very, very small portion of the general population. I still believe TKL stand a good chance of winning if PAP do not disquallify him as a contender.

Yes agreed. The 40% will mostly lean towards TKL more than TCB.
And someone pointed out OTC polled less % then what govt got during elections....so more might vote against TT and the votes will mostly go to TKL.

You base your analysis on a voting pattern before the milestone where OTC proved that he can be independent and objective in his job. :rolleyes:

when lau Goh and hsien loong talked good about Tony, we know Tony is no more independent !

Dr Tan Cheng Bock and Mr Tan KL look more independent .

Mr Tan KL suggests better ideas and promises .

True, reserves and investments and CPF are national interest !

And it is also true if Mr Tan KL becomes president, he will expose the truth , change will come and GE 2016 will see more GRCs fall under oppo parties !

Tan k L- Enjoying good fat overpaid salary as NTUC income topman b4, how to tell if he reali cut ties with pap, reali will help the singaporeans against our 'powerful MIW'?
Tan c b, -ex MP b4, also not promising kind of people who looked smart enough to counter-check pap
The answer is that no one from a clean background can contest for EP, for EP contesters seemed only ex govt ministries' topman,ceo...can qualify only to enrol for PE at election office.
EP' election is wasting our time & taxpayers money only, imagine nathan is taking how much monies during his terms as EP, if the monies paid to him used in charity better
