Singapore's first indigenous Rojak GRC team

I will like to suggest the oppositions to quickly form the Singapore's first indigenous Rojak GRC team to lay claim to contest in Tanjong Pagar GRC or Ang Mo Kio GRC in the 2016 election. The team candidates must all be 'heavy weight' opposition figures like what Steve Chia described of himself during the recent election. Imho, some of the best candidates for this rojak team are:

1. Chee Soon Juan (SDP)
2. James Gomez (SDP)
3. Steve Chia (NSP)
4. Chia Ti Lik (SJP)
5. Ng Teck Siong (SJP)
6. Desmond Lim (SDA)

The key characteristics of this rojak team are: all its candidates must be 'well known' political figures, have never-say-die attitude and are determined to come back again & again after failing in every election, and most importantly, they must have done something that is still being perceived to have impaired the effort or tarnished the reputation of opposition in certain way.

The main advantages of having this rojak team in the next election is it will generate a lot more media attention for the opposition's unity cause, attract all or most of negative criticisms / attacks from the ruling party and state media, and provides the best rebuttal to the 'rojak' talk by LSS. If this rojak team manages to take down the GRC that it contested, its candidates will be vindicated, have their reputations restored and silence their critics once and for all.

Some people may say it is impossible to form such a team because these potential candidates have big ego, each like to be leader in his own right and they may also have different political views. Imho, people do not need to worry too much about these issues because this is what 'Rojak' is all about - 'Unity in Diversity'.

This dream team will be the one and only one in history with the biggest & strongest bite. The only thing they need to pay attention to is to make sure they stand in unity and bite their opponent together. The collective damage they can inflict in unison will probably KO their most difficult opponent for good, and this will put a smile on the faces of all opposition supporters when the day comes.:biggrin::biggrin:

I forgot to add that the strategic need for the oppositions to form this Rojak A-team is similar to why the military needs to have specialized units like commandos who are tasked with the important responsibility of jeopardizing the opponent's command and operations behind the front line by infiltration, reconnaissance, sabotage & diversion. No matter if they win or lose in the election, the candidates would have redeemed themselves for their past deeds and they will be able to leave a positive legacy in the Singapore politic. Hope they are able to get the drift.:biggrin::biggrin:

Please do not count the chicken before the eggs hatch lah. Don't forget that the rojak team has 5 more years to prepare themselves for the ultimate assault on their common opponent. People should be forgiving and encourage them to undertake this difficult task.:biggrin::biggrin:

Tanjong Pagar is a 5 man GRC and Steve Chia got standard one so he shouldn't be inside. Take away Steve Chia and this will look just right
