hehehe one of his favourite comments is to say this party or that person has no clue, the straits times has no clue etc how ironic here.
Yes, ironically, he is the clueless one. People are on to his charade, but he has no clue. The Screwed One said Not just CPIB, all law enforcement cannot enter a Mindef premises or an SAF base, camp or facility even when murder occurs. They will be made to wait outside the gate until the place is "secured" by Mindef personnel.

Its common in many countries. The civilian police does not have jurisdiction over a military installation. This has always been the case in countries like the US, whose military system we follow. Don't know why he is so surprised by this. I have had countless Police come to the gates of a SAR to arrest or investigate some personnel in the camp. The guardroom does not let them in until its cleared by the Battalion DO, who in turn has to report and clear this with the Brigade DO. I have personally turned down the police request several times to interrogate my personnel. And they have gone away empty handed or not gotten everyone they want. If my guardroom let the police into my camp without my approval, they will do extras until the cows come home. Only Clueless will make a big deal and pretend like its some secret information only he knows. Its common procedure worldwide for the Police not to have jurisdiction over military facilities.

yup police who follow civilian law do not have jurisdiction on military camps unless allowed to by the military personnel. Obviously this allows certain military personnel to cover up some details before the police or outside law enforcement were to investigate but it's how militaries the world over operate including the US.

Bro, don't spoil the fun. Every now then I need a bit of relief from the PAP. This fish I have caught and released multiple times under the humanitarian catch and release scheme.

Due to our captive media, most people assume that the PAP follows their own rules diligently. I mention that our CJ went into NS a year ahead as he was one year ahead in his studies due to have schooled overseas except for his JC. He and others automatically assumed that 18 for A Levels was when you are called up not realising what the law is. Also came up with his own version of CJ and that he went to SJI when he never stepped into SJI. I have stopped correcting him so the catch and release scheme.

You are funny. You make me laugh....Lol .... Lol

The old dogma was to show to the Indon and the Malaysians that SAF was razor sharp, full of zeal and totally incorruptible and therefore old man and GKS swept everything under the carpet. It was understandable at that time. There was one incident when the US army was asked to account for a series of undelivered items under the procurement bundle. Tommy Koh contacted Colin Powell to arrange the meeting. Colin Powell himself surprisingly chaired the meeting and showed item by item that all had been delivered. BG Wesley D'Arango from our side asked our Embassy for the meeting. he did not attend as it was held in pentagon and no one expected Colin Powell to attend. One would have thought that our sides has a serious issue in the procurement side. MFA was waiting for the whole thing to explode, nothing came out of it.

So the same cover has conveniently being used to hide various serious issues within DSO and Mindef overall. They are happy when MSD catches and internal Mindef intelligence agencies catches the odd scientists sharing classified info with their academic friends and turfs them out.

As you can see the Mindef staff have no clue what falls under military law and what does not. The Coroner's cases are just the tip of the problem. Mindef and Provost immediately went tits up and shocked when the fellow cadet that shot his own mate in the back accidentally, was immediately arrested and remanded when the Police was allowed in. They had no clue the severity of the incident.

The same when SOF chap thrown in the clinger when caught using stolen credit cards outside the camp. They were still in the 70s and 80s when one of pilots went awol and fled to Hawaii. Mindef kept it quiet and flew to Hawaii to escort him back like he was poor mischievous schoolboy. The same with another pilot whose taiwanese mistress emptied his savings and put him in under a huge debt. Mindef came out with their own personal loan scheme.

If defence contractor like S Tech caught so many times.........why not others? It is the tip of Mt Everest
