Well sometimes people are born into less privileged families. Given their background, they get stuck where they're at. As much as we want to push them, without education and a good job, we can kick them but they can't budge either. So how to help them? We need policies in place to protect them.

If there is no minimum or progressive wage, who is there to help the poor people out? How can we sit back and relax to let the market "adjust" itself? We can't just sit comfortably in our office with our comfortable wage and let the poor fend for themselves. It's not right.
