Yes yes, thanks for your reply. Just Curious(JC), may I know why you’ve left both groups? Is your profile pic really you? I’m asking because almost everybody doesn’t show their real faces in forums. Maybe we hide our faces so that we can talk nonsense

Snowbird, in case you still don’t see the whole picture, here’s a simple explanation. They’ve separated their VEP into 2 parts; 1) The money collection part(RM20 per entry) - They’ve already started this part more than one year ago in Nov 2016. 2) The RFID hardware part - Hasn’t Started yet...

Per Entry of RM20 - Already started. VEP which cost RM25 for 5 Years - Hasn’t started. (RM25 for 5 years works out to be RM0.013 per day). Do you get the whole picture?

You said above, “But all these savings may be short-lived once MY implements the VEP”. Snowbird, the per entry charge of RM20 has already started long ago. There will be no ADDITIONAL per entry charge once VEP starts. You still don’t get it?

As of the time of my reply, the statement above is totally untrue. Till date, there is NO “Per-Entry” charge announced for Malaysia VEP. Malaysia has started the per-entry charge which they call “Road Charge”.

RedsYNWA is right. Till date, there is NO news about any additional per entry charge from Malaysia VEP at all. The RM20 per entry is called Road Charge.

We only need to pay a tiny fee to register for Malaysia's VEP and this VEP will be valid for 5 long years. There won't be any daily charge nor per entry charge for their VEP. (Their per entry charge has already started and they call it Road Charge).

Another question is - Do they mean a continuous stay of "3 weeks" in Malaysia without exiting? If yes, it's back to the same "exit and re-enter", just that it must be every 3 weeks instead of 30 days. Lastly - Is it illegal for a Singaporean to visit Johor every day for different reasons?

If they have reduced the 30 days of Social Visit Pass for Singaporeans to 21 days, this is a big change and should have been reported in SG's news. There should also be new Arrival Stamps which state 21 days instead of 30 days. MACS stickers will also be changed to reflect the same. Have...

It's because since a few years ago, many new channels for communication/interaction between real residents and owners of East Ledang started to become popular. E.g. EL's Facebook group(705 members), a few Whatsapp chat groups(almost 300 participants in total), EL's Google Community(dunno how...

It's not unusual that they will randomly ask travellers why do they visit Malaysia so frequently(that's their job). 2 friends of mine got asked and they ended up in the immigration office for 1.5 hours before being let off. I do believe that when being asked, they might have answered the officer...

I'm not sure whether or not it is a 'must' to update Title Deed. But so far, I've already sold 2 properties after my passport has been changed and I didn't update a single government department nor the banks about my new passport number. I still keep my old passport though and provided the image...

I don't know what's the state's valuation actually, so just trying out and see whether they can get the State Consent or not. (Bank's valuation is around RM1.5mil though but gov. doesn't use bank's valuation).
