    Austin Heights/Adda Heights

Adda Heights is clearing the land next to Yellow Horizon, Precinct 7 in preparation for launch in Aug next year. From the little details I gathered visiting the sales office, unlike earlier developments, it will be a strata title development with own club house. There will be cluster, semi-D...

Is the Iskandar Market Dead Now ? Warning / Opportunity ? To potential Buyers,..

Indeed, I hv a friend who bought and relocated to live in Horizon Hill. He runs his S'pore and Manila offices via the net. He commutes to Sg when necessary and chooses his time to avoid the jam.

Wow, looks delicious. Not only does it look nice, at RM5 it's excellent value for money these days. Do you happen to note the name of the store?

Singaporeans living JB "Prohibited Immigrants" and barred from entry.

In short, the Minister simply denies that MM2H has been suspended. Instead, they are just tightening the control and scrutinising more on the background of the applicants to prevent abuses.

Report from Sin Chew Jit Poh (http://www.sinchew.com.my/node/1799996). MM2H is still on.

Tx for the sharing. Sg is certainly a better place to live in if you're a high earner or net-worth. In my view, for the average middle class, despite all the negatives, your SGD goes much further and buy you more enjoyment in JB beyond merely worrying about surviving and saving for the rainy...

Johor Living Experience, Are You Truly Happy ?

The question to ask is perhaps, are you less happy living in JB or Sg, taking cost of living into consideration of course.

Before GE14, the cost of living on both sides of the causeway was up and up. PH promised to tackle this issue and I guess this was the main reason they were voted in. One can already predict the Sg cost of living in the coming few years based on what's announced and signals sent, e.g...

    JB Food

I have been enjoying Wak Radol satay, following the recommendation from Internet. However, I have since found a better place which you probably can't find from just surfing the Internet. It's from a store set up opposite the 7 Days & Dance (https://7daysfitness.com.my/contactus/) in Desa...

Just took a look at Checkpoint.sg again. It's now 15:40. The situation looks just as bad, 75-105 mins & 41-62 mins. The queue seems to be built on the Sg side. But why there are still so many people crossing over o M'sia, given that it's not a school holiday season?

    Living in JB 3 (Johore)

Lately, the jams at the causeway and Tuas link have gotten worse. I just took a look at Cheskpoint.SG. It reported 100-130 mins and 61-91 mins to enter M'sia from the causeway and Tuas respectively. Seems rather strange that traffic is that heavy on a non working Saturday morning, especially...

Would it be inconceivable that the next Sg elections yield a minority government? Meaning PAP secures less than 50% of the seats and has to bring in 1 of the opposition party in order to form the government; and therefore will have to fine tune policies going forward.

I agree with you that in general, politicians cannot be trusted. But if you were a M'sian, wouldn't you be supportive if he is trying to do good for his own country men as against what has been happening in the past decade? The jury is still out; although it's still a long shot, but if this...

One may disagree with what TM is doing, and even the way he goes abt it. If you stand from the viewpoint of a M'sian, you will back him as he is trying to do good M'sian even to the detriment of foreigners. After all, this is the duty of a good and responsible government.

As far as I know, you can't convert MY to SG license for S'porean & SPR as of many years ago. The exception is if the SPR already holds the MY license before securing PR status. Have Sg govt changed that?

Also, you may like to note that if you hv a Sg license, you don't need a M'sian license. I was involved in a minor accident driving a M'sian car. Use my Sg license to make police report and successfully claim insurance for car repair without any problem.

I thought the 1st thing announced by the new Transport Minister is to abolish the "guaranteed pass" option. Is the practice still going on?
