It is clear that the PAP seized on the opportunity to politically damage WP's reputation, no matter how the govt maintains its stance that the WP leaders failed in their accountability by not correcting the parliamentary record at the earliest opportunity. It seems clear that in the court of public opinion, Raeesah Khan intentionally betrayed her own party and allowed herself to be used as a pawn of the PAP. She has been vilified as a serial liar and someone unfit to be an MP.
