hearsay.....Dr Anus Koh resigned his million-dollar position because of this?

Don’t be naive. The party will rather throw him under the bus and take the holier than thou attitude. If someone probed and found out that he still retains his MP seat despite evidence proving any wrongdoing, the backlash on the party will be far worse off.
Halimah Yacob's presidency raises questions about genuine democracy and meritocracy in S'pore. It is clear that the PAP is free to introduce new rules that serve their own interests in spite of the public backlash. The SG govt is able to pick a President who is paid to keep silent. Transparency and fairness is completely absent in the political process.

Did you ever consider that if Dr Koh's 'scandal' is out in the open, it would be another case of misconduct and immorality involving a Minister and MP to add to the PAP's growing list?

Obviously PAP strategy for lustful ministers is same for corruption. Give them more overseas "biz trips" and more "hang flower allowance " so they will be satisfied and not be corrupted due to lust

You seem to have forgotten or were unaware that the PAP faced intense public and political backlash after the 2023 resignations of Speaker of Parliament Tan CJ and MP Cheng LH over their extramarital affair. The crisis centred on the delayed disclosure of the affair by then PM Lee , the conflict of interest and comparisons to previous PAP scandals.
Took u so long to come to the point i was saying.

You misunderstood once again. PM Wong wants to steer clear of yet another scandal so he is quietly showing Dr Koh the door, with the latter set to stepdown from his MP's position in due course. Do you understand now? The PAP wants this scandal to die a natural death.

how abt the minister snake ???

The Sith Lord has the full backing of both SM and PM. He is untouchable and even Teo Chee Hean covered up for him at the inquiry into the Ridout Rd saga.
teh cheang wan oso makan $$$$mm, at least he has the courage to throw himself under the bus.. i salute his courage

It’s clear that he’s leaving because of troubled waters more than just mere dissatisfaction.

If you try to decipher his speech, he was saying he was an absent father, husband and son. That’s some pretty serious self bashing there. And why did it just occur to him now after his kids have grown up? Lol

It’s most likely he was caught red handed for something serious and it’s related to his personal life.
If that is situation, then they would ask him to resign as an MP

He should have quit when his kids were younger. Does it make sense?
Many PMETs wish that they could have quit their extremely demanding jobs when they were younger so they could have spent more time with their children when they were in primary and secondary school. However, the reality is that these hardworking 'absentee' parents were simply trying to give their kids a better life in the most expensive city in the world. Now that the children have become young adults, and the parents are able to retire early, they find that their offspring already have their own lives to lead.
