I agree. Pork in vietnamese food is essential to it's flavour. And provides the full experience.
 
Nope. Not necessary. Some vietnamese are muslims and some are vegetarian
I was referring to viet food that contains pork, they need to contain pork. Cannot suka suka substitute with chicken, beef, etc.

I saw my colleague's car parked along Geylang one evening. After I told him, he claimed that he was there for the chicken rice, but he only ordered the chicken that night.
