This happens a lot at FairPrice and Giant, and it is not just the seniors who are the culprits. The self-checkout counters do display a lot of errors, and the staff are stretched having to rectify the problems, which lead to delays for other shoppers.It depends. Sometimes those machines display errors; either you scan too quickly or it detects an item error that causes a false alert for no apparent reason, and the staff member is taking her sweet time to assist.
